A ladder of ten programs — from your first chart to CPC, CCS and CDIP

Every course has a defined next step. Start where you are: a foundation if you are new, a credential if you already code, a specialty if you want off the general queue. If you are not sure, that is what counselling is for.

See where you are — and what comes next

A ladder, not a dead end. Each rung builds on the one before it, and each course page shows exactly where it leads.

  1. 1 Entry Start from zero
  2. 2 Depth Complex charts and ICD-10-PCS
  3. 3 Credential AAPC CPC or AHIMA CCS
  4. 4 Specialty The skills employers screen for
  5. 5 Skill + Credential Both in one sequence
  6. 6 Career Move Documentation integrity

Start from where you are

Pick the line that sounds like you. We will confirm it with a straight assessment in counselling.

I am new to medical coding

The course designed to assume nothing. Then a credential track.

I code, and I need a credential

CPC for outpatient and physician-side work; CCS for hospital work.

My complex-chart accuracy is weak

For coders whose QA scores are fine on volume and weak on complexity.

I want surgical, E/M or inpatient work

Specialty depth on top of an existing base.

I want the skill and the credential together

One continuous sequence, cheaper than taking them apart.

I want to move off production coding

Clinical, analytical and provider-facing — for experienced inpatient coders.

BMCT — Basic Medical Coding Training

Leads to: Coding foundation

The foundation every credential sits on: anatomy you actually understand, terminology you do not have to guess at, and enough ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS to code a straightforward chart end to end.

  • Online & Classroom
  • None — open to graduates
Next Step

AMCT — Advanced Medical Coding Training

Leads to: Advanced coding competency

The step between knowing the rules and applying them when the documentation fights back — complex multi-system charts, multi-specialty exposure and ICD-10-PCS.

  • 45 Days
  • Online & Classroom
  • BMCT or equivalent foundation

A twenty-day intensive for working coders, spent on the two things that decide a CCS result: guideline precision, and performing under a four-hour clock.

  • 20 Days (Intensive)
  • Online & Classroom

High Demand

Surgery Coding

Leads to: Multi-specialty surgical coding competency

Specialty by specialty, from real operative reports — the skill coding managers say they cannot hire enough of, and the fastest route off a general coding queue.

  • 45 Days
  • Online & Classroom
  • Working ICD-10-CM and CPT knowledge

Surgery Coding + CPC

Leads to: AAPC CPC + surgical coding competency

Surgical coding first, at full depth, then CPC exam preparation — so you finish with a credential and a demonstrable specialty, in the order that makes both work.

  • 60 Days suggested

Faculty who still code

Active credentials, current CEU compliance.

Exams that mirror the real thing

Full-length mocks under real timing, with individual review of every wrong answer.

A ladder, not a dead end

Every course has a defined next step.

Frequently Asked Questions

Each course page has its own detailed FAQ. These apply across the catalogue.

New to coding: BMCT. Coding already and need a credential: CPC for outpatient and physician-side work, CCS for hospital work. Moving into inpatient: IP-DRG or the IP-DRG + CCS Elite Combo. Ready to move off production coding: CDIP. Talk to us and we will give you a straight assessment of which route fits.

Neither is better — they are aimed at different work. CPC (AAPC) is physician-side and outpatient, and appears most often in entry-level Indian job postings. CCS (AHIMA) is hospital-oriented, covers inpatient and outpatient, and appears most often in inpatient, DRG, QA and audit postings. Tell us where you want to work and we will tell you which to take.

No. AAPC and AHIMA fees are paid directly to those organisations.

Same syllabus, same assessments. Classroom in Chennai; online live, not pre-recorded.

Guideline updates, CEU guidance, recertification reminders and alumni network access — indefinitely, at no additional charge.
